Once again, Chepstow Choral Society put on a great concert with an enthusiastic audience (despite clashing with the Six Nations showdown !). The choir first performed Fauré 's well loved Requiem, with soloists Roger Martin & Angela Ham coming from within the choir ranks and who sang really beautifully. After the interval , we were treated to the lesser known Dvorák's Mass in D, and the second rousing movement - Gloria - was a particular highlight. Peter Cook once more accompanied the choir on an very impressive electric organ, and the choir received a standing ovation at the end ! Well done everyone !
