The Music Makers Nov 2012, 10th November

We recently performed the Verdi Requiem with a group of combined choirs from S Wales, which was wonderful. The singers were accompanied by the Rhondda Symphony Orchestra, and we were keen to invite this group of instrumentalists to play with us in Chepstow.

Elgars The Music Makers was chosen, and we thoroughly enjoyed performing this - although not many of us realised that the tune "Nimrod" is actually a vocal piece within this work !
